Agnes was the eldest daughter of William and Catherine Gladstone and was born at St Martin in the Fields, Westminster and christened there on 24th November 1842.
She married Rev. Edward Charles Wickham, Headmaster of Wellington College, son of Rev. Edward and Christina Wickham, in 1873 at Chester, Cheshire and they had two sons William and Edward and two daughters, Lucy and Mary.
